    Where Our Service Makes a Difference

    From practical help to neighborly connection, our service supports people and causes throughout the Lynden community.

    Medical Equipment

    We offer free temporary loans of medical equipment (walkers, canes, crutches, wheelchairs, tub/shower seats, & toilet risers) for anyone recovering from surgery, injuries, or other issues.

    Flags

    We proudly continue our flag program with local businesses and look forward to displaying over 300 flags citywide on 12 holidays this year.  The largest concentration of flags is along Front Street in downtown Lynden where over 50 flags are displayed on each of the 11 holidays.  This year we celebrate 33 years of our flags program.

    Vision and Hearing

    We support efforts that help neighbors access vision and hearing resources and stay connected to daily life. We collect eye glasses and hearing aids for recycling and offer financial help to obtain eye glasses or hearing aids for those needing assistance.

    Dictionaries

    The Lynden Lions Dictionary project continues to provide dictionaries to all third graders in the Lynden Schools at the beginning of each school year.  These Dictionaries also provide facts of the world as well as the Presidents of the U. S., Declaration of Independence, the countries of the world and the solar system, and others.  This is for them to keep as their own.  2026 will be our twentieth year and many previous recipients are still using their dictionaries.

    Fair Parking

    We park cars at the Fairway Shopping Center for the Northwest Washington Fair. The proceeds from this and other club events enable our club to support more than 20 charities and activities here in Lynden.   Our Club shares duty with the Kiwanas Club;
